Got these at Christmas for both my kids, one of each colour. The sales bloke didn't need to ask the blade length and selected the best option to get the kids swinging (pretty awesome). Their great base lite sabers and have held up where most sabers would've (and have) failed, the simple electronics make it easy to maintain and the soldering on the board to internals is good. So if you're looking for something that's a great option for kids, you can easily fix and can couple to become a saber-staff without the bells and whistles. Then ... you're looking at the right package.
The boxes it came in were in perfect condition, really good packaging on the inside and the quality is perfect, the only minor problem was i wish they'd just gave you the instructions you need instead of all of the instructions for all of there light-saber builds, was a little confusing but other wise they are great, ill admit the purple is a bit to bright for me personally and isnt as accurate with the photo but otherwise again they are good
