This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding returns and refunds for products purchased from JW Sabers. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with JW Sabers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below.

Cancellation of Orders
At JW Sabers, we understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your order before it is shipped. However, please be aware that as we source our products directly from the factory, it can be challenging to cancel an order once it has been placed. While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee success in canceling orders that have already entered the processing or shipping stages. If you wish to cancel your order, please follow these steps:
a. Contact us as soon as possible, providing your order number and a clear request for cancellation.
b. Our team will assess the status of your order and make every effort to prevent it from progressing further.
c. If the order can be canceled successfully, we will provide confirmation of the cancellation and initiate a refund if applicable.

Limitations regarding order cancellations:
a. Time Sensitivity: Time is of the essence when cancelling an order. We recommend contacting us immediately after deciding to cancel your order to increase the chances of success.
b. Order Processing: Once an order has entered the processing stage, it becomes increasingly difficult to cancel it. Our team will communicate with the factory to halt the processing if possible.
c. Shipping Stage: If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. In such cases, we may, at our discretion, facilitate a return which will be subject to a restocking fee.
d. Refund Timing: If a cancellation is successful, we will initiate a refund in the original form of payment used for the purchase. Please note that the timing of the refund may vary based on the payment provider's processing time.
e. While we strive to provide the best customer service possible, the nature of our sourcing process limits our ability to cancel orders once they are placed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
f. Fees: Our payment providers, including Stripe and Paypal, charge processing fees that we are unable to recover. As such, any refund may have the actual fees deducted from it. These fees are not more than 3% of the order value.

Returns for Change of Mind
As a small business, JW Sabers is unable to accept returns for change of mind. We encourage you to carefully consider your purchase before placing an order. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to our customer service team before making your purchase.

Returns for Faulty Items
If you receive a lightsaber with a manufacturing defect or other faults covered by our warranty policy, JW Sabers will assess and handle the return accordingly. Please refer to our Warranty and Returns Policy for instructions on filing a warranty claim.

Assessment of Faulty Items
For faulty items, please follow these steps
a. Contact us at support@jwsabers.com.au within a reasonable timeframe of receiving the lightsaber.
b. Provide your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and any supporting material, such as photographs or videos, to help us assess the situation.
c. Our customer service team will guide you through the return process and provide instructions for returning the lightsaber if necessary.
d. Once we receive the returned product, our team will evaluate the issue to determine if it falls within the warranty coverage. If approved, we will repair or replace the lightsaber and cover the shipping costs for returning the product to you.

Refunds
Refunds will only be provided in cases where JW Sabers is unable to repair or replace the faulty lightsaber. If a refund is approved, it will be issued in the original form of payment used for the purchase.
